<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>As Maxine is reaching adulthood this year she thought it would be nice to do a 50 mile & 50k bike ride amongst other fundraisers to celebrate & has managed to talk myself (Dawn), Tracey, Sall & Sue into doing the 50 mile bike ride with her.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>Everyone is welcome to join in. It starts at the Scout Hut on Wright Street in Chorley on Sunday 6 May at 9.00am - entry £5 and takes in the sights of Preston along the River Ribble and the Guild Wheel finishing back where we started with sore bums and legs.</strong></span></p>
<p>We are raising money for The North West Air Ambulance which is under a separate link and the the LEP Lifesaver Appeal. The charity aims to raise £500,000 for a CT scanner for the Royal Preston Hospital’s A&E department. Royal Preston is now the Major Trauma Centre for Lancashire and Cumbria, and the scanner will ensure people with multiple and life-threatening injuries get urgent medical help even faster.</p>
