My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As Maxine is reaching adulthood this year she thought it would be nice to do a 50 mile & 50k bike ride amongst other fundraisers to celebrate & has managed to talk myself (Dawn), Tracey, Sall & Sue into doing the 50 mile bike ride with her.

Everyone is welcome to join in.  It starts at the Scout Hut on Wright Street in Chorley on Sunday 6 May at 9.00am - entry £5 and takes in the sights of Preston along the River Ribble and the Guild Wheel finishing back where we started with sore bums and legs.

We are raising money for The North West Air Ambulance which is under a separate link and the the LEP Lifesaver Appeal.  The charity aims to raise £500,000 for a CT scanner for the Royal Preston Hospital’s A&E department. Royal Preston is now the Major Trauma Centre for Lancashire and Cumbria, and the scanner will ensure people with multiple and life-threatening injuries get urgent medical help even faster.
