Story
Working to halt the slash-and-burn agriculture and illegal logging that has long devastated the natural forests on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, the KHJL Cooperative is proving that one key to success is ‘small scale on a large scale'. This cooperative works with over 560 local villagers to grow Teak in small, responsibly managed plantations.
With your donation we can continue to support KHJL with on-going training, the annual certification costs and we can also expand the program to other villagers.
