The Inspirational Group (TIG) was formed in 2009 to achieve three goals. All group members - having overcome some form of health issues in recent years – came together in order to firstly, inspire each other to regain optimal health and fitness for a better quality of life; secondly, to engender team spirit by celebrating the camaraderie of sincere and supportive friendship; Lastly to share our own inspiration with, and support for, those who are striving to overcome their own health issues.
When we met Pauline Thomson and became inspired by her story (http://www.justgiving.com/The-Inspirational-Group-Paulines-Page) We decided to make our 1st TIG 'sharing' project Fund Raising for MS Therapy Centre of Sutton & Croydon, by undertaking a 7 day trek around the of in , on 17 - 24th July 2010. The trek will entail daily walking of 7 – 8 hours, ascending up to 900 m and also descending down 900m daily, at heights of approximately 2000m.
The seven members of the 2010 trek team are: Sureta Channa, Priya Bhatia, Neelam Nayyar, Cheryl Power, Sayuja P. Malhotra, Anuja Punj Prashar, Deepak Bhatia and Ranjeet Nayyar.
