We are a group of friends taking part in the 4th Martlet's Midnight Walk on Friday 18th June.  This is a 13 mile sponsored walk through the streets of Brighton & Hove, starting at midnight, to raise much needed funds for the hospice who help people affected by life limiting illness living in and around Brighton & Hove.

The Hospice receives 30% of its funding from the NHS, which leaves a shortfall to raise every year of over £3 million.

Money is tight for all of us at the moment, but we'd be grateful for any donation you can spare.

And just so you know where your money is going:

£96 pays for 3 sessions with a physio which could help someone learn to walk again.

£124 pays for a day's care in the Day Hospice where patients receive specialist medical support but are able to live at home.

£330 covers the cost of 10 bereavement sessions for families who have lost a loved one at the Hospice.

£700 would pay for 5 days' care from the Martlets@Home team for a patient who has chosen to die at home.  The team will also support the patient's family.
