The veterans who seek their support are really struggling in life. 75% are dealing with mental health challenges, often alongside a range of complex physical conditions. Many experience additional barriers to employment alongside their health condition, such as social isolation, age prejudice, inexperience of civilian working life, substance misuse, homelessness, and financial and welfare difficulties. 

It costs us £3,394 to support one veteran. This may seem like a lot but we’re not a light touch organisation. The veterans we help are often really struggling in life.
