Run Doonhame 3 · 22 May 2016

COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

At 10am on Sunday 22 May 2016 five runners  will set off from the
Tower of London heading to Cardiff Castle. From Cardiff they will then
head up though Wales to Holyhead where they will catch a ferry to Dublin
and then run to Dublin Castle before heading North and running to
Belfast Castle.  They will then catch a ferry to Cairnryan before
running to Dumfries for a short media stop with sponsors and
local/national media. The team will then run north to Edinburgh where
they will arrive in time for ALL five runners to run in the Edinburgh
Marathon on Sunday 29th May.

The runners will be running in 10k relay legs, 24hours and supported the whole way by a dedicated support team.

On Sunday 29th May the team will also be supported by 10 teams (4 runners per team) of runners competing in the Hairy Haggis Relay.
