On the 20th of May 2012 Laura Napier, Sean Hepburn, Derek Napier, Rachael Farquhar, Mike Farquhar and Graeme Farquhar will all be taking part in the Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10K.

Last year Mike and his brother Graeme ran the 10K to raise money for the "Friends of Anchor" charity. Laura and Sean also ran the 10K last year and the year before for the "Friends of Anchor" Charity.

This year we all wanted to run the 10K and raise money again, in memory of Sharon Farquhar, Mike's wife and Rachael's mum, who sadly passed away at the start of January 2012 following a two year struggle with terminal cancer. Sharon raised lots of money for the "Friends of Anchor" charity during her lifetime and was also a patient at the Anchor Unit during her treatment.

Laura is also an outpatient who attends the Anchor Unit every 6 months, where she is able to catch a glimpse of where the fundraising goes.

All donations are greatly appreciated and for a great cause. :)
