The Walker Family and Friends are taking part in the Haven's Hospice Moonlight Fright Night 6 mile Walk on Saturday 24th October.

As you may know Haven's Hospice played a huge part in looking after dad when we were no longer able to.  Not only did they take care of dad but they also took care of us.  They always made us feel welcome and included in all the decisions that had to be made and even let us sleep there even though I'm sure we were getting in their way.  It was a way for us to spend our last moments with dad but for him to still have 24 hour care and medical support right until the last moment.  We wouldn't have been able to cope without their support and I don't know how other families would if they were in our position and didn't have a place like Haven's Hospice to take them in.
