Story

On Saturday the 21 June 2013 Ben & I will ride Mr T. our trusty Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z over 1000 miles in less than 24 hours to raise as much money as possible for the Royal British Legion.

As many of you will know I have been riding “Big Miles” for many years but what will make this an outstanding feet is the fact Ben will be just 11 years old! He is already the youngest Brit Butt Light Pillion having completed the BBL in 2010 at the tender age of just 8 years old finishing 18th. Collecting his certificate from the IBA UK President is one of his greatest achievements to date.We are so excited about the prospect of Ben becoming possibly the youngest ever pillion to take part in the RBLR1000’s 5 year history that we just cannot wait to get practicing.

Now I know it’s quite a way off but remember if you donate now I won’t come pestering nearer the time. I hope you can find it in your heart of hearts to support us by making a kind donation and help us reach our target of £500.

Here’s hoping The Wandering Walton’s strike “Gold” for the Royal British Legion!
