Firstly a BIG thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.
We (Terry, Mark, Scott, Phil & Duncan) are a team of close colleagues, all looking to make a difference to Whizz-Kidz.
Whizz-Kidz is a charity that is all about giving disabled children the chance to lead a more independent life which we think is a great cause. This charity is virtually 100% reliant on voluntary funds so that more young people can lead an active childhood.
We're hoping that a bunch of older "Wheezing Geezers" like us, can make a difference to them by running the Virgin London Marathon April 2010! Also, what doesn't kill us will hopefully make us stronger... right? Well we REALLY hope so!!!!
Our assistant Sian, who will also help us raise money keeps telling us already that "pain is temporary but quitting lasts forever", and that will hopefully give us that competitive edge to keep us on the 26 mile straight!
