Story
On 20th July, the Arc Angels will be tackling the Colchester leg of the Race for Life for the seventh year in a row, to raise important funds for Cancer Research.
The Race for Life started in 1994, and has grown to become the UK’s largest female-only fundraising event. Its aim is simple – to keep funding cancer research until all 200 types of cancer are beaten.
Cancer Research UK is committed to life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. They fund research into many aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses throughout the UK. Cancer Research’s important work would not be possible without the support and donations they receive every year from Race for Life.
The Arc Angels have so raised over £10,000 from previous years and we would be delighted if we could raise over £1,000 this year to add to the total, so please help us support Cancer Research by sponsoring us.
