We are The Blessed Tribe, aka Qabeelat Barakah. In this blessed month of Ramadan, we're supporting Human Appeal International, a  charity with a worldwide reputation for providing much needed relief to the victims of natural disasters, by aiming to raise £5,000 for the victims of the floods in .

The UN has rated the floods in as the greatest humanitarian crisis in recent history with more people affected than the Asian tsunami and the earthquakes in and combined.

’s worst flooding for 80 years has left 1,800 dead and displaced 20 million. The threat of diseases, starvation and hypothermia is imminent. Those affected have lost everything they ever owned, from their livestock, houses and farms to their belongings, businesses and crops. Some have fled with just the clothes on their back!

Please help the victims of the floods by donating generously to this EMERGENCY APPEAL and encouraging your friends and family to do the same. Your donations will enable a sustained campaign of aid to continue throughout the emergency and could save lives and help decrease the death toll.

£20 will provide a hygiene kit, £30 will provide clothes and £50 will provide a family food parcel. £100 will provide a family tent and bedding and £200 will provide a complete emergency pack.

Note: The victims of the floods are eligible for zakat. 100% of your donations will be spent to help the victims of the floods, God willing. If your donation is zakat, please mention this in the message box when making a donation.
