1 child every 5 minutes runs away from home or care. This can often be because of the effects of poverty, neglect or violence. Living on the streets can seem like the better option. But these children can be at serious risk of harm and exploitation but feel like they have nowhere to turn.

£100 is all it takes for The Children's Society to reach out and make contact with one of these children. This may be the first time in a long time anyone has asked them what's wrong and would they like help.

We build a trusting relationship and provide the help they need to turn their lives around for the better.
