The Epilepsy Research Institute’s mission is to radically advance research for the #Onein100 people living with epilepsy. A life free from epilepsy is possible. But only through research We need energetic, adventurous and creative people like you to help us raise vital funds for epilepsy research!

Story

Our George is one of the 1 in 103 people in the UK with epilepsy. His epilepsy, like many others is 'intractable' which means it cannot be entirely controlled by any treatments currently available. It has had a devastating affect on his mental ability and continues to impact on his quality of life and that of his family.

Epilepsy research is purely funded by charitable giving. Advances have been made but more research is desperately needed.

I have created a music video which explains how epilepsy can affect people's lives. With 65 million people worldwide affected, and there being over 40 types of epilepsy, this gives only a glimpse of how it affects peoples lives daily. I intend to circulate this as widely as possible to raise awareness of what is in fact a very common condition. In so doing I hope more funds will be directed towards epilepsy research.
