My story

For 2011 the Gunite Group has chosen to support East Anglian Air Ambulance who rely solely on charity for funding their much needed air ambulances and staff.

Congratulations to our team who made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in February - an amazing achievement!  In May some of us had a very pleasant 40 km "stroll" along the South Downs in the Just Walk 2011 and others took part in the Mud Runner Oblivion 2011 Challenge at Eastnoor Castle, Herefordshire - which as the name suggests was a little muddy!!!  And more recently, congrats to Kat, Fran and John who completed the British 10 km in London on 10 July in a very respectable time.

A big thank you to all that have either taken part in fundraising events or who have made a donation - we are nearly at our target but please keep donating for a very worthy cause.

More events to follow ...........

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

East Anglian Air Ambulance

Charity Registration No. 1083876

The East Anglian Air Ambulance now runs two fully medically equipped helicopters (code-named Anglia One and Anglia Two) serving the people of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Between the two helicopters they are able to provide a life-saving resource, reaching patients quickly and if required, transporting them to the most suitable hospital (rather than the nearest) within minutes. On-going public support is essential to enable us to continue offering this vital service and we are very grateful for your kind donation.
