So, Welcome! to our "Holy Cow Express" great adventure!
Let me introduce you to Johnbo & Lubo, two retro misfits from the University of Durham. John and I met in the first week of University back in 2002, the start of a hectic journey through life’s ups and downs. Our friendship blossomed from our love of music, tea and good company, mutual resentment of TV "for background noise" and most of all the determination to have fun! In search of like minded people and new experiences we soon turned our attention to travels!
John & I first travelled together in 2006 through Laos' deltas, Thailand's pure utopias and into the crazy irony of Cambodia. It is worth noting at this point that this was John's first time on a plane, he arrived in Vientiane after a 2 hour internal (local!) flight through the most torrential monsoon they had seen that decade, and this only appeared to whet Johnbo's appetite for "new experiences".
We have now set our sites on India’s rich tapestry to drive a 7Bhp Tuk Tuk 2500km in two weeks from Cochin to Gantok, from jungle to moountain. Those of you who know Johnbo & I will know all too well our lengthy debates, childish antics, constant bickering, and severe infliction of belligerence! Guaranteed to make for an interesting two weeks in a 2x1m unreliable bean can in 40 degree heat! Bring on the mayhem!
