The Huntington Lodge Pub in West Monkseaton is buzzing with the news that 22 brave and hardy regulars have given up their lie ins to hit the early morning roads and train for the Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge. But substituting their regular tipple for energy drinks will be worth it in their bid to have raised £5000 to name a guide dog puppy when they complete the challenge between May 17th and 19th 2013.

Your donations will help Guide Dogs provide life changing independence to blind and partially sighted people. Every penny will also spur on the intrepid cyclists through aching muscles and saddle soreness!
