Story

I am going do a beasty cycle ride sponsored by you all you inshaAllah. Please give what you can as we enter Dhul Hijjah...

On Sunday 15th December 2013, I will be embarking on a unique 50+ mile cycle ride; travelling through some of the most beautiful areas of rural London (yes rural!) and passing by some if its iconic landmarks - all in one day!

'Why?' You may ask. Well, cycling for charity is a great way to get fit, see some brilliant scenery and meet some exciting people.

The charity of choice for me is the National Zakat Foundation who are all about alleviating poverty on our doorsteps. With winter coming up, things just got worse for some people in this country. A charity close to my heart, NZF are UK registered, and are going from strength to strength; serving the needs of the local community. However, they need our support to help them in meeting the increasing demand of our brothers and sisters in need!

So, how can you help?

Well, first and foremost - du’a that this endeavour is a success and keeps our hearts sincere.

I also need you to sponsor me - with the very best you have in terms of cash.  I have a double challenge of losing a considerable amount of weight before I can even think of taking part in this cycle, which means a lot of time training and preparing so I can get through this with flying colours!

So - please dig deep and donate now.
Let's help alleviate poverty on our doorsteps, one person a time.
