My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
To celebrate our 10th birthday we have made a pledge to raise £10,000 for Leicester Charity Link by the 30 September 2012… and the countdown has started! (Find out more at www.thephoenixpartners.com)
Each year Leicester Charity Link helps over 5,000 local vulnerable people and children who are experiencing poverty by providing everyday items that the majority of us take for granted. A bed to sleep in, a cooker on which to prepare hot meals and — in emergencies — food. These items may not cost much, but they make a massive difference to people’s lives. For every £10 that’s donated Leicester Charity Link can raise £50 from charitable trusts that are available to help and all of that £50 goes to those in need.
So, when we raise £10,000 for them this year, they will raise £50,000. That’s a lot of help for people who really do need it.
So please dig deep and donate now.
