Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon · 13 July 2013

Mary’s Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding programmes in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The charity now feeds more than three million children every school day and it costs just £19.15/€22.00 to feed a child for a year.

Story

On 13th July 2013, Jenny and I are participating in the Artemis Kindrochit Quadrathalon which will be taking place in the Scottish Highlands.

The challenge:

Swim - 1.35k (0.8 miles)

Run/ Walk - approx. 24k (15 miles)

Kayak - 11k (7 miles)

Cycle - 54k (34 miles)

Slice a melon - in two with a sword to stop the clock

By doing this Quadrathalon we are hoping to raise a lot of money for Mary's Meals, an international charity that sets up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.

Please support us! Every little helps...

Many thanks,

Laura & Jenny
