The 3 Peaks Challenge · 12 September 2009

People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments. Research is the only way to turn this hope into reality. Combining patient stories and scientific expertise, we fund projects that have a real impact, reducing side-effects, cutting treatment costs and ultimately improving outcomes.

Story

We've made it in 22hrs 45mins!!!!

Someone might call this a momentary lapse of reason, but we have decided to do the ultimate 3 Peaks Challenge. The most infamous UK mountain challenge: the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours!

The Peaks are:

Snowdon (Wales - 1085m)

Scafell Pike (England - 978m)

Ben Nevis (Scotland - 1344m)

We are raising money for the Prostate Research Centre which carries out research into the causes of and treatment for the most frequently diagnosed male cancer. The centre is based at the University College London.
