At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

The Trip to Remember is an endurance challenge that has been devised to test the mental and physical limits of all the participants, the team will attempt to master a unique route that promises to be one of the toughest British Isles based challenges of 2011.

Over 36 hours the team will cycle, row and hike a total of 150 miles; from Dublin to the top of Snowdon. On the way they will travel down the spectacular Irish coastline, tackle the Irish Sea in a night-time crossing and hike through Snowdonia National Park to the summit of Wales’ highest peak.

This Just Giving page is an easy portal for anyone who supports what we are trying to do to donate to a very worthy cause. The Alzheimer's Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Many of our 25,000 members have personal experience of dementia, as carers, health professionals or people with dementia themselves, and their experiences help to inform our work.
