Bloodwise Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2017 · 3 June 2017 to 4 June 2017 ·

We are a small charity with a big ambition set up in memory of Oscar Cole who died very suddenly aged just 16 months in June 2014. We are helping to bring the future of Healthcare to children by utilising the latest technologies such as data science, artificial intelligence and digital solutions.

Story

The Willcocks are stepping up to the plate and it isn't going to be pretty.......... 3 of the 5 family members will be taking part in the Blenheim Palace Triathlon and Duathlon on 3rd and 4th June 2017 in aid of the charity Thinking of Oscar.

Thinking of Oscar was founded in memory of Oscar Cole who died suddenly and unexpectedly aged only 16 months. The charity sets out to make a very positive difference to the lives of children whilst they are in hospital. Thus far it has funded innovative vein finding devices used at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and Great Ormond Street and has raised the £100,000 required to fully fund a new Paediatric Procedures Unit for the Oxford Children's Hospital - to name 2 considerable achievements. It continues to target and fund projects (over and above the NHS) to enhance children and their families experience in hospitals.

Rosie hasn't ridden a bicycle for 20 years, has barely donned her trainers in the last 5 years and has never swam further than 50m. Andy similarly needs to hone a very questionable swimming 'technique' and get on his bicycle that has sat unused and rusting in the garden for the 3 years he has owned it. Henry and Freddie refuse to walk for more than 5 minutes without a snack to bribe them along......

This promises to be a big challenge for us so please dip into your pocket to give us the continued motivation to get out and raise money for this incredibly worthy cause.

Thank you
