Students and Members of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, Nursing and Midwifery team at Sheffield Hallam have launched 'The Extra Yard' project. Together, staff and student representatives will take part in a series of health-focused charity events, raising money to donate to designated local charities each year. So far over 50 staff and students have taken part in fun runs and we are working on other events over the course of thge year.

The first two events were 5km fun run in Endcliffe Park (S11) on Saturday 1 June and 6th July. The third and final event for the Cavendish centre is another park run on the 7th September in Endcliffe park (S11) at 0900 (meet at 0830)

The next event afrter this will be for Bluebell Wood Hospioce where we are cycling form sheffield to otherham and back onthe 6th October 2013.
