Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.

Cancer research is not only close to us but to so many people we know. It is life changing not only for the patient but friends and family around them. We are all affected by cancer at some point throughout our lives. And it is our chance to try and change things, to try and help find a cure. Cancer research is completely reliant on us to help get money together to help fund there research. So even if it is only a couple of pound you can spare it could make all the difference.

We are lucky enough in this country to get all cancer treatment for free, but if you or a loved one would have to pay for the treatment how much would you be willing to pay? Why not donate that amount to cancer research to help them design the treatment that one day you will be very thankful of. It is time to stop hiding away from cancer and facing up to it, its time to BEAT IT!
