Charity FIFA15 Tournament · 23 October 2014

We raise money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I recently set a challenge for Theo, a young man in East Manchester who I am mentoring, which was to pick a cause and do something about it.

Despite being only 12 years old, he immediately came up with the idea of a charity FIFA15 tournament where young people could pay to enter a contest of this brand-new video game and for all proceeds go to his chosen charity, Royal Marsden. This charity did an amazing job working with Theo's Grandma and this is the reason for his choice.

We agreed to hold the tournament on 23rd October at the Youth Club I help run and which Theo occasionally attends.

We also got talking about whether anyone who isn't competing in the tournament but wants to support this great charity would also like to make a donation.

So we have set a modest target for the combined offline and online donations, and here it is...
