Story

I have joined a team to walk 30km over multiple peaks in the Lake District with 1875km of ascent in under 11 hours, the route is not fully guided not marked - so we could end up anywhere with my map reading skills!! The weather can also throw anything at us, adding to the challenge. I have no other challenges booked in May - so why not do this?

Walking with the Wounded provide support to veterans helping to transfer their skills into the civilian workplace. They off assistance to those vulnerable veterans who have been physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged by their service to assist them in sustaining their independence through new sustainable careers outside of the military. This includes providing support to homeless veterans and veterans in the Criminal Justice System, areas which are too often ignored.
