Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 2nd September we will be joining the Cowie Family and over 100 friends to take part in a triathlon to help JDRF research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.  Jack and myself along with Brett and Nathan will complete a 1000 metre swim followed by 5k run and 20k cycle. 

Jack and Adam are both 9 years old and have been great friends since they were babies. They both love to play football and go out on their bikes, but Adam faces a great challenge every day in dealing and coping with type 1 diabetes. 

Adam was diagnosed with type 1 at the age of 5,  he suddenly became ill after a friends birthday party. This was a huge shock to the Cowie family,  and his parents Nicola and Dave have shown great strength and support to Adam who amazes us all with his determination and positivity. 

We would be so grateful for any donation that could be made on behalf of Team Triathlon and the Cowie Family towards the vital research needed by JDRF to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
