<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Ailey Patrick .</span></p>
<p>Ailey took unwell on the 15th of January 2011 with Impetigo - a viral infection . Very soon after being given antibiotics she became unwell with Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome , which after 6 months developed into Severe M.E/C.F.S. . After stays in various hospitals over the last year Ailey is now starting to show small signs of recovery , and we hope to have her home within the next few months . She is bedbound , in constant pain , and every day is a challenge . The last word that she manage to speak was "<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #888888;">Understand</span>"</span> , because she has felt that no one has understood what her illness is and what she is going through . It is Ailey's wish to raise awareness and Understanding of her condition , and to try and prevent other children having to go through what she is going through . We wish to raise funds for the various M.E. Charities that have helped us , and hopefully in the process help people understand what a terrible and mis-understood condition M.E.is .</p>
<p>We are holding a sponsored cycle round the Isle of Cumbrae {Millport} , on Saturday the 26th of May 2012 , leaving from the pier in Millport at 11am .
