Leander did it for love, Byron did it for fun. I thought I'd try and do it for charity.
On the 30th August I am swimming 4.5km across the Dardanelles in Turkey to raise money for the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Worthing. The Queen Alexandra Hospital does wonderful work providing nursing and rehabilitation care for physically disabled ex-Servicemen. One member of my family works at the hospital and I know just how much they rely on charitable donations to keep their service going.
