Hi everyone.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In a rather unexpected turn of events, I'm going to be running in the London 10k race in just over 6 weeks time(!) for In Harmony Sistema England. In Harmony are an amazing charity who help improve the lives of some of England's poorest children - providing them with intensive music education classes. This has a huge impact, not only on developing their musical ability, but more importantly on improving their self-esteem, social skills, academic performance in all areas of school life, as well as serving to bring their families and communities together. 

It really is amazing charity and has had big results (check out http://www.ihse.org.uk/research ) In fact, I believe in this cause so much, that I signed up to the race only a few days ago, without any planning or training. This is much further than I have ever run before - and anyone who was present at the Braemar hill run will be well aware that any form of physical exercise pretty much kills me. But that said, I'm very keen and am hoping that my enthusiasm will make up for my appaling fitness level...

Anything that you could spare to sponsor me would be greatly appreciated and really would make a big difference.
