I have finally decided the time has come to run a half marathon (or at least try) and I have chosen to raise a bit of money for Autism so that I am not running 20km for no reason (other than personal gain and pride of course)! As lots of you will know I worked at an American summer camp for learning disabled children, some of whom had autistic spectrum disorders, so this is a cause that I do feel pretty strongly about. Any size donation is welcome, the half-marathon is on the 11th of October in Birmingham, luckily for me part of the course is almost by my house so if it's hard going i will definitely be stopping for a rest (that was a joke).
