Yes I'd love to see Tom in a Mankini. The idiot. Humiliation is the best he deserves.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

First of all, thank you to everyone who has already generously offered support. You are all wonderful people of uncommon intelligence, beauty and generosity with a profound love of humanity and all that is good in life (i.e. disadvantaged kids given the opportunity to engage with the arts). At least until your cheques bounce/never show up.

The general consensus seems to be that really, it’s necessary that I should do something humiliating to earn your generosity. Besides, since I lack the talent or ability to do something noteworthy or difficult, it seems the only way..

As such, the following incentive structure is ideal for those of you who aren’t much interested in community arts, but would like the opportunity to see me humiliate myself.

By a suitable arbitrary date (let’s say, for symbolic value, 1 May 2010) if I receive suitably allocated (see below) donations in the range:

Unde £2k on demand, I will provide anyone who wants it, documentary evidence that I’ve worn a luminous pink Mankini (cheers Xavier – look what you’ve done). If you want a personal demonstration, everyone has their price...

£2k- £5k  – I will run (ok, cough, gasp, stumble) around Finsbury Park in said Mankini. I hope that everyone acknowledges this represents a significant threat to my personal well-being. Documentary evidence to  be provided on a suitable public forum (youtube/flickr)

£5,001 + - I will, public order offences permitting, do the same, around Trafalgar square. Documentary evidence to be etc. etc.

I know that my public humiliation is  a very popular idea in some quarters, but there is also, I am told, a substantial number of you who would do anything not to risk seeing me in a Mankini.

Even donate money to charity.

If this describes YOU just donate through the “I’d really rather Tom didn’t wear a pink Mankini, ever. The thought makes me feel all nasty inside” page instead.

Cheers all
