Dear Friends and Family,

A friend (James Firman) and I are going to climb the largest mountain in Africa for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.  The RHN need to raise over £2million in donations each year to continue to fund patient care and undertake ground-breaking research and I really think it's a charity worth supporting. We're really excited and I hope you'll sponsor us in helping someone a lot less fortunate lead a much more fulfilled life.

If you're wondering what they do, here's a 30 second read that will help you understand.

Mark was seriously injured in an accident, aged 23, which left him in a coma. His parents were told he would not survive and were asked to donate his organs, but they never gave up hope. Mark was admitted to the Royal Hospital, where the staff used an innovative injury assessment programme to discover that Mark had been misdiagnosed. He had an active mind trapped inside a paralysed body. Months of skilled rehabilitation enabled Mark to relearn instinctive tasks like breathing and limb movement. He regained partial sight on his 24th birthday, and spoke his first words soon afterwards. Now living in semi-independent accommodation, Mark has completed a business administration course and can walk with the aid of a frame.

11,000 adults suffer a serious head injury every year in the UK. 2,000 of those will suffer a serious disability which stays with them for the rest of their lives.  Help us support an amazing organisation which helps as many of these unfortunate people as possible.

Lots of love
