Story
Please read my friends story. This is the reason I have chosen to run for Bliss at the Manchester 10k and the Manchester Half Marathon.
Nothing quite prepare you for your babies arriving into the world early.
Babies born before 37 weeks gestation are classed as premature.
Our twin daughters were born at 30 weeks and 3 days, 10 and a half weeks after my waters broke also know as PPROM (preterm premature ruptures of membranes).
It's scary because you have no idea what is going to happen.
Our daughters spent 12 weeks in neo natal.
Bliss is a charity that we support. They support parents & families of babies born too soon. They provide information on various procedures that can happen with prem babies. There's a helpline open for families of prem babies. They also carry out vital research into prematurity.
