Story
On the 19th day of the 5th month (19th May) 4 gallant warriors (cyclists) myself, Jack Woods, Jake Ostrovskis & John Ostrovskis will be embarking on a noble quest (charity bike ride). Our quest will begin at St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield and will take us all the way to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The perilous journey will take us through gruelling mountains (peak district) and across vast oceans (the English Channel). A 370-mile crusade (ride) over 4 days will push our band of merry men’s physical, mental and emotional boundaries to their limits.
The noblest of quests deserves the noblest of causes. St Luke’s hospice is a charity founded by Jake Ostrovskis granddad which provides care and support for people suffering from terminal illness, and those people who are closest to them, in the Sheffield area. This year alone £5.6 million is needed to ensure that St Luke’s Hospice can continue to give the best quality of life to its 1400+ patients and their supportive families.
For those of you that have been lucky enough not to experience the terminal illness of a loved one, I cannot stress enough how far your contribution will go!
Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated and go a long way. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this and hopefully thank for your kind hearted donation.
