To give a few examples of how the money will be used, £100 will provide 200 textbooks for children who are often sharing 1 textbook between 3  or 4 pupils. £500 would pay to put a roof on a classroom to protect children from the elements, £2000 would buy 150 4-seater desks for pupils, ensuring that the children no longer had to sit on the floor in dusty environments, struggling to learn. Lastly, £2,800 would build a latrine block for a school, which would not only give children a clean, safe toilet, but having this facility will often help to keep older girls in schools.
