Please sponsor me to run the Great Manchester 10km. I know I am very last minute with starting to fundraise, but exams have taken over my life recently. However, please don't let my lack of organisation stop this chairty receiving the money they deserve.

I am running for Sands stillbirth and neonatal death charity. They provide an amazing service to people affected by the death of a child.

I want to raise awareness for this charity because most people are not aware of the work they do, unless they have experienced the death of a baby.

In January, my girlfirend's sister went through the heartbreak of loosing her baby. This devasted her and the whole family. Even though I am not a direct family member, it affected me more than I ever thought.

The excitement and anticipation of being told a baby is on its way, makes it even more difficult to deal with, if it is sadly lost.
