The ThreePeaks Challenge....To climb the highest three peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. A total drive of some 460 miles, a total walk of 24 miles, and a vertical climb of nearly 10,000 feet!

The team is made up of Jo Brown, Connor Judson, Deya Lidster and Kelly Brunton.

 

Jo Brown – aka ‘The Boss’ is a trained ambulance Technician and has never done anything like this before in her life! She loves roller skating but walking that far is a little different.

Jo has also just completed a 24 hour skating challenge raising money for the same course. She is the one with the maps!

 

Connor Judson – Is currently studying sports injuries diploma.  He has done Duke of Edinburgh while studying and came away with a Bronze. He is the comedian of the group and likes to keep everyone motivated by making us laugh.

 

Deya Lidster – Is currently studying History and has done Duke of Edinburgh while studying and came away with a Bronze and Silver. Deya is the serious walker, making sure everyone has everything ready to go. She is also the one with the compass so we are bestest buddies!

 

Kelly Brunton – last to join the group, she has just qualified as an Ambulance Paramedic and is up for a challenge, she also did Duke of Edinburgh and came away with a Bronze and Silver.

 

The whole team is medically trained as we all work together in the medical centre at Thorpe Park (theme park) and have various skills between us. We will all be in charge of planning our route to the top of each peak. We have drivers to get us between each mountain so they can deal with that!
