Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you are aware Mark Cox, David Brackley, Stephen Little and the team driver Chris Williamson are planning to take on one of the UK's ultimate mountain-endurance challenges, which involves trekking to the top of the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours!

The mountains climbed, are Ben Nevis in Western Scotland, 1,344 metres (4,409 ft), Scafell Pike in North-Western England 978 metres (3,209 ft) and Snowdon in North Wales, 1,085 metres (3,560 ft). In all the challenge involves climbing some 42 kilometres (26 mi) of ascent and descent, with total travel approaching 765 kilometres (475 mi).

The team are proposing to start climbing Ben Nevis at 5pm on Friday the 24th June up the Pony Track which features approximately 1,320 metres (4,331 ft) of vertical climb after climbing to the summit and reaching the bottom we then drive for 6-7 hours to the Scafell Pike arriving at roughly 4am in the morning.  We will start climbing in the dark from Wasdale Head which is the steepest climb of all three mountains, with 900 metres (2,953 ft) of ascent over only 4 kilometres (2.5 mi).  After completing Scafell Pike we will then drive for 4 hours to Snowden, as log as we reach the base of Snowden at 13.30 and the summit at 15.30 that will leave us 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the base to complete the challenge within the 24 hours.

I have attached some pictures that were taken on our first practice walk up Scafell Pike, remember when we do the challenge we will be starting this walk in the dark!!

We decided to take on the challenge to raise money for The Childrens Adventure Farm Trust, please follow the link below to find out more information about the trust.  http://www.childrensadventurefarm.org/
