<p>*UPDATE*</p>
<p>We did it! Starting with epic driving to get to Snowdon by midnight, the team climbed all three peaks, although with treacherous zero visibility conditions a complete ascent of Snowdon wasn't possible. Weary legs finally came off the massive Ben Nevis at 0139, having taken 25 hrs 39 mins to complete the lot. Great team effort from all, including sterling work from Mary at the wheel. We're still accepting donations!!! </p>
<p>Stuart, Lizzi, Finn, Guy, Ben and Martin are taking on the biggest UK outdoor challenge - climbing the three peaks of Snowdon (Wales), Scarfell Pike (England) and Ben Nevis (Scotland) in 24 hours - aided by team manager Mary Brady, who'll be driving the weary hikers from peak to peak.</p>
<p>The team are undertaking this endeavour in order to raise money for the "Yes We Can Academies" project run under the umbrella of the HELPI NG Gambia charity. The project sponsors university students who in turn provide tuition, mentoring and guidance at weekends to high-school age children in rural areas, where the educational record is poor.</p>
<p>Your money donated will help to support the project by contributing to wages and materials for the classes. The more we raise the more impact the project can have; we have already had requests from other communities to expand the project to new areas.</p>
