The Three Peaks challenge involves climbing the three highest mountains in the British Isles in 24 hours. This would be a fairly daunting task for an endurance athlete. I can say with confidence that none of us have ever been described as such.

We are taking on this challenge to raise money for the Coombe Trust Children's charity. The Coombe Trust work with under privileged and disabled children and families helping them in a number of different ways, which are best explained on their website (http://www.coombetrust.org). Having personally met David Coombe he is a truly inspirational character and has a very rare quality in the modern world of being utterly selfless.
