They were challenged by Hugh Fearnley Whittlingstall of River Cottage to enjoy holidaying on the west coast of Scotland; blagging, foraging, hunting, fishing and working for their dinner. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>The show aired on channel 4 in 2010 and was a huge success. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Shortly after the show aired, Thom was diagnosed with colon cancer and following successful surgery underwent six months of intensive chemotherapy. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>This Cricket Match event has been organised by Thom, his family and the Three Hungry Boys as a thank you to raise valuably needed funds for Macmillan who supported him, and many other patients and their families, both&nbsp;emotionally&nbsp;and&nbsp;financially through treatment.<span>&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span><span>&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span>Thom would like you to donate to and support this event and Macmillan.
