In May I will be completing the Three Peaks challenge in an effort to raise money for Charlotte's operation. As a team we are aiming to raise £20,000

My name is Charlotte and I am 4 years old. I was born 8 weeks
early with my twin brother Daniel. I had a bleed on my brain which was
found shortly after birth which has caused quadriplegic cerebral palsy.
 For the first few months of my life I moved from hospital to hospital
and had lots of feeding difficulties which resulted in me having to have
 a gastrostomy tube fitted to help me feed. Daniel was meeting all his
milestones and I have been left behind and cannot sit up unaided, crawl
or walk. It has been devastating for my mum and dad to watch Daniel
progressing whilst I struggle with the simplest of tasks. I find it very
 difficult to play with my twin brother as he is running around getting
into mischief and I get very frustrated that I can't do what he is
doing. My arms and legs are very stiff and this makes it very difficult
for me to control. My mum and dad are trying to help me in every way
they can and we do lots of physiotherapy together everyday and a
targeted training program to help me improve my sitting balance. My mum
 and dad have been researching an operation which they hope will help me
 in the US called SDR. This operation is available at St Louis childrens
 hospital where Dr Park has specialised in this field for over 25 years
and has helped thousands of children to walk. Their aim is to raise
funds to enable them to take Me to meet Dr Parks and hopefully benefit
from this operation and give me every opportunity they can so I can
achieve my full potential. I also need specialist equipment to help me
with everyday life and to ensure I can join in with my twin brother and
friends. Please help me to dance with Daniel.
