Haris is my brother and he is 8 years old. Haris has Cerebral Palsy, Spastic Diplegia. This condition makes his leg muscles very tight and so he walks high on his toes. This affects his balance and walking ability.

There is a treatment for this in the form of an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy. This operation will get rid of the spasticity and help him walk easily.

As the NHS have withdrawn funds for this treatment, we have to self fund.

I am running 3 miles in the Fun Run on the 23rd March in order to raise money for the treatment.
