Story

Eleven years ago 15 mad women cycled across Britain, from Whitehaven to Sunderland in 3 days and raised money for Cancer Research ~ I was one of them. Fouteen of the original team plus 4 new members plan to do it all again in late September.

Since starting training I have done just over 700 miles ~ in that time I have sworn madly (while supposedly being out of breath) sweated or should that be glowed a lot, been over taken by a snail, or actually quite alot of snails, had most of the locals laugh at me, one even saying I will never do the distance I will be found dead at the side of the road........I love the support! Turia and Flo have told me I need to go faster and Kirkland is the ever supporting husband and just laughs at my efforts!!

Cancer is still a frightening word, so if you feel you could sponsor me in any way I would be extremely grateful.

The team are: Georgie Adams, Alison Allman, Joanna Allman, Amanda Boot, Katie Briggs, Jane Fair, Pauline Goodwin, Mandy Howle, Rosie Lamont, Kate Lucas, Julie Mellard, Jane Phillips, Liz Stuart, Louise Taylor, Tiddles Tellwright and Sally Wain.

Lorry Driver and Bike Mechanic: John Howle. Back up cars: Terry Corn and Angie Tams.

Thank you for even just looking

Tiddles x

ps You will be pleased to hear I have a VERY large padded saddle and some wonderfully baggy shorts
