Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ok.. here goes... my very good mate leon callon has a very rare form of stomach cancer (GIST), it's that rare in fact its terminal... so at the age of 35 there (at the moment) is no solution to this form of cancer.

So I'm doing this to enhance awareness & in some form obviously I'm hoping that they could possibly find a cure ...

So this is my attempt at doing something good for it & pushing myself in the only manner I know how.

To me it is (again) another reminder that you should, enjoy life everyday, push it, respect it get the most from it but nice to others & respect there decisions...

So here it is....

Originally my plan was to ride around the Isle of Wight on the Wayfarer Randonnee event (100k).....but to make it an epic voyage worthy of this cause I thought I would add on cycling to the event, just to show my love for this awesome guy!

So.........On 27th April I will be undertaking a mamouth bike ride to the Isle of Wight.... just the 220 miles and then around it!!!

I have never done a charity event before as I think it is quite difficult to ask people to part with their money when life is tough/expensive enough and people I know work hard for their money.

So if you can spare £1 or £5 or whatever you can.... I would be really grateful and you would be helping a truly good cause which is little known about.
