After having a big rush of blood to my head, I have been persuaded to give Ironman Wales a go in September! After as short 2.4 mile sea swim,  a relaxing 112 mile bike ride and an easy marathon, I earn the "Ironman" title. How hard can it be..?! I like to see it as just a good day out!

The fact is though, difficult though September 8th will be, it is only one day and the fact is, the children and their families associated with Alder- Hey go through far worse than this day after day and in some cases for weeks and months. Compared to that, Ironman will be easy.
