Yorkshire 3 Peaks Adventure 2018 · 20 April 2018 to 21 April 2018 ·

We're raising funds to help older and younger people gain confidence in the future, whatever challenges they face today.

Story

I was privileged enough to take part in the Santander Charity Challenge to South Africa in 2016 where we were split into three teams and helped build three separate houses in a township outside Durban. I hope mine is still standing!

This was a eye opening experience for myself and with generous support I managed to raise in excess of £2700 for Santander's Charities Age UK and Barnardos.

When I saw that there was another upcoming event - to scale the 3 highest Peaks in Yorkshire I felt like I couldn't turn it down. This time I will be really tested physically which I am slightly nervous about...

In total we will be climbing 2153 meters (7014ft) and walking 24.5 miles all in 12 hours.

I have been set the challenge of raising a minimum of £395 to take part in the event for the same worthy charities as before.

As a team we are organising a race night on Wednesday 18th April at Alfie Browns in Barnstaple. I hosted a race night two years ago and it was a fantastic success. All who attended had a great night and we raised huge amount of money for some much needed charities.

Any donations will be very gratefully received and go straight to the same designated charities as my previous challenge.
