Inverness to Glasgow · 4 September 2015

Our life-changing research can fight diseases, tackle global challenges and change society. At Nottingham, students from all backgrounds can achieve extraordinary things, in and out of the classroom. But talent needs a catalyst. You can shape the future and help make the incredible happen, every day

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was privileged to be asked to join David Greenaway and Chris Jagger on their Cycle Live Scotland leg - 220 miles from Inverness to Glasgow. This is a massive challenge for me - at the beginning of 2015 the most I had ridden was 30 miles!  I have discovered that I like hills - but only when they're down.

The subject of dementia is close to my heart as my mum suffers this debilitating condition. Any research which looks to find a cure at best or a treatment which improves life has to be worthwhile.

Any amount you can give will be very much appreciated!
